The Meaning of Home

Through the little path up the stairs all the way to the front door. Wiping your shoes on the mat and then walking into so much more. Into the kitchen where the smell is astonishing. “Please empty your bag,” my mom is admonishing. Saying hello to my family and friend As the evening is slowly coming to an end. Into my room that is not so neat, Hopping into my bed is such a treat. Into the next day as I wake, Opening my eyes as I smell breakfast a bake. Down the stairs, I walk into the kitchen once more. I smell the coffee right when I get to the door. In my home my family is the most significant, Although my house is very magnificent. Home is a place where you should feel safe. A house is more than just a place. Any home is not just a house, it's a place to enjoy with family and friends. No matter how big or how small the home, the love never ends.
