What does home mean to me
What does home mean to me? Home is a place that’s loving and kind. You can sleep there .You have your family with you . I think homes in Canada cost way more than they used to. It’s not too affordable for some people and some people need help with getting home and that stuff.
Habitat for Humanity has been helping thousands of people trying to get a home. Since that’s been helping, lots of people have been doing volunteer hours and it can be more affordable housing. This is helping a lot of people get homes.
How does a habitat home help people? Habitat for Humanity has been helping people since 1976 and they have given more than 7.1 million homes.
I’ve lived in a lot of homes in my life. I've lived in at least five. I was in a townhouse that was infested with cockroaches and in that home we had a dog named Maggie. Maggie was like part of the family. It was good to have it there and we moved a bit after I stayed at the same school for two more years after I moved schools. I met a lot of friends on the way.
Lots of people need homes and they deserve to have a home where they can feel the exact same way as everybody else. They deserve to live in a place that they feel safe, they feel more they can eat and they can sleep like everybody else.
