WHAT HOME MEANS TO ME

Some people mix up two different words: home and house. True, a house can be a home, and vise versa. A house, big or small, doesn't affect your home. To me, home is not quite a place, but more like a feeling. A warm, fuzzy feeling when you’re surrounded by your favourite people in the whole wide world. When you feel happy. When you feel calm. As soon as you open the door, and somebody greets you, asks about your day, their love and joy fill you up until your love and joy spills out, coating everybody in a blanket of happiness. Home. An endless cycle of good vibes :) Home is never just a roof and walls and windows. It's love and laughter, delight and happiness. It’s the aroma of delicious ... (you guessed it!) food. It’s when everything feels just right, and you tell yourself “Man, I’m so, so lucky to be right here, right now” Maybe a house will change, and the people in it too, but a home adapts and evolves with you. Home is, quite literally, where the heart is.
