Home Sweet Home

I think of home as a thick, cozy blanket where I can curl up and relax, while a house is a building with walls and a roof. Home always makes you happy, and you can be yourself. A house might have those feelings, but a home always makes you happy. Home can make you feel nervous, happy, sad, excited, free, valued, confident, and everything else. Home is where you can do anything from laugh to cry and everything in between. When I'm home, I love to grab my AirPods and play some upbeat songs while reading a good book that has me fully immersed in the words and song while drinking a nice steamy cup of hot cocoa or playing lots of my favorite game till my eyes are worn out from staring at the screen for so long. I know your home is important to you because if it was not, then it would not be home. I always feel bad for people who don't have a house or a home because everybody deserves both, especially a home. Thank you, Habitat for Humanity, for giving people a second chance at rebuilding their lives so they can have a home as special as mine. Now, I want you to think about what your home is, remember, it can be anywhere special to you where you can be yourself.
