What home means to me

To me a home is not just four big walls, it is a comforting area of peace as well as a safe place to come home to. I also think of it as an area of feelings. I find a lot of peace in my bedroom and spending time in my bed with quietness as well as spending time with my pets such as my cat. When I am home all my worries go away because I am with the people I love and care about. I am so grateful to be able to have my mom’s wonderful cooking for lunch and dinner and being able to enjoy the scent of her tasty cookies. I love all the thought she puts into it, and I will never take that for granted. I love spending time playing, laughing and overall, just having fun with them. We always go through our ups and downs, but we always know how to turn each other’s frowns upside down. My home is where I can do whatever and feel at ease but do not ever let those wholesome moments go. There is never a dull moment in my home. I enjoy having the opportunity every day to be around the loving, loyal, trustworthy people I live with. In conclusion this is how much my home and family means to me.
