My Home is

My Home is Written by: Julia Kuncl Home is a place where you feel safe and loved. Home is where you always feel welcome. A home is where your family lives peacefully, Except when my brother is sad Then emotions explode and quite disappears. When I’m at home, if we’re in the living room It means the family is together, talking and playing We play board games happily together. I am filled with excitement, hoping for luck. My bedroom is very cosy, Filled with objects that make me feel warm and safe. I often lose track of time when I’m reading on my bed. Reading Keepers of the Lost Cities Leaves me with cliffhangers. Sometimes I’m scared, But I have to keep reading to know what will happen next. When I’m at home, I don’t get disturbed that much, So it’s hard to stop reading when I’m drawn into my books. Another place that makes my house a home is the dining room. We all sit there together, talking about what happened during the day. It’s time to share things we’ve learned. We share jokes, laughter, and upcoming events. Another place that makes my house a home is my garden full of Flowers and vegetables. I help my mom with planting flowers, vegetables, And tearing out weeds. After my dad rakes the leaves I jump in the piles of leaves.
