The Meaning of Home

Home is my happy place where I feel safe. The smell of my moms cooking makes me feel warm-hearted when my mom makes tamales. I feel connected to my Mexican culture. When my sister makes mac and cheese I let go of my surroundings. My cat Noodles make me think of all the memories we've had together. I feel a sense of belonging. I am grateful Noodles gives me happiness. Home is important to me because it's where I belong.
